Did not use any of the amenities except putt- putt which definitely needs an overhaul.
The campground is close to town and other areas.
Just spent the weekend here for our first camping trip in our new RV. The resort is very nice & large & has lots to offer. The owner was very nice. The sites are very nice & the prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back when the weather is warmer, so the girls can try out those huge water slides & looking forward to the outdoor theater. It is close to town also.
We had a great weekend at Lake Ridge RV Resort! The staff were nice and super site pull thru was very spacious and clean! Lots of fun stuff/activities for the kids. They really enjoyed the candy bar bingo and glow Stick golf cart parade. This was our first time camping, and had a brand new camper so we didn't know what to expect and this site was definitely everything we wanted and more. The only negative thing we would say would be about the pool. There were a LOT of day pass visitors on Saturday which really overwhelmed the pool area. Maybe restricting the number of day pass visitors would help, and I think campers would be much happier but again, overall a GREAT experience. We will definitely be back!
I spent a week here this past summer and it was great! We got lucky. They had a park model available. We got it! We were across from the pool so the kid could have a little freedom from mom. The staff was really nice. All kinds of activities for the kids. They have an outside movie screen and show a movie every night. I recommend the park model everytime.
First time camping here -- nice big pull thru sites. We had a problem with the 50 amp on our pedestal if more than Two items were running then the breaker would trip. We finally moved the cord to another pedestal. Little to no WiFi -- a total necessity but would have nice.
New management is great! So glad the pool is finally heated instead of ice cold, and they're now having more things to do like arts and crafts, candy bingo, and outdoor movies. Only five foot deep everywhere besides the 2 foot kiddies pool which has duel slides into them and two bigger water slides in the corner of the pool area. Although I can't help but still miss those diving boards and the 10 feet depth.
